This policy confirms the commitment of CF group France and its subsidiaries to the ethical and responsible use of your personal data, with a constant concern for transparency and fairness.

CF group France comprises several legal entities in France. This data protection policy applies to the legal entity within CF group France that is responsible for processing your data.

More specifically, the following information concerns the collection of personal data by the company DEL (DIFFUSION EQUIPEMENTS LOISIRS) SAS with capital of 2,300,000 euros, whose registered office is at Lieu-dit la Basse Croix, 35530 BRECE, registered in the Rennes Trade and Companies Register under number 303 355 671, in its capacity as data controller.

DEL undertakes to ensure that the processing of personal data carried out in the course of its business complies with European Regulation No. 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and with French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties (as amended), as well as with other provisions applicable in France to the processing of personal data.

DEL specialises in the manufacture and distribution of swimming pool products and equipment.

 

The concept of personal data

Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

The Personal Data collected may include, but is not limited to:

  • your first and last names, postal address, e-mail address, telephone numbers, IP address;
  • your identity data (names, first names, title, gender, date of birth, job title);
  • your preferences with regard to marketing solicitations and communications from us;
  • profile data (identifiers, passwords, preferences, feedback and answers to questionnaires;
  • technical data (IP address, authentication data, browser model and version, location settings, etc.);
  • usage data relating to your user experience on our site.

The Personal Data collected is, however, strictly limited to that which is necessary for the purposes of the processing concerned.

DEL, in its capacity as data controller, is therefore likely to process the personal data of the following individuals:

Purpose of processing your personal data

Personal data is collected for specific purposes which are made known to the persons concerned.

DEL collects your personal data mainly in order to:

    • developing the activities of CF group France, improving products and services, researching new products and services, administering, maintaining and improving our websites;
    • to carry out technical operations for the purposes set out above, in particular technical or cybersecurity operations relating to the detection of anomalies and the security of your data and of our information systems from which your data is processed;
    • recruiting people for the needs of our business;
    • the pursuit of the corporate purpose of CF group France and its subsidiaries;
    • defending the interests of CF group France and its subsidiaries in administrative and legal matters.

How long we keep your personal data

Personal data is kept for a period defined according to the purposes of each processing operation and any legal obligations relating thereto.

  • For the duration of a commercial guarantee;
  • 3 years after a quotation has been issued;
  • 15 years after an order or invoice is issued;

DEL reserves the right to request additional documents from the applicant in order to prove his or her identity.
